Running with dogs at Dash in the Dark.

It has been decided by the committee that we can no longer allow dogs to run at the ‘Dash in the Dark’ races. We are not insured to allow dogs and runners to compete at the event and is not listed as a Canicross event.

Also the nature of trail running in the dark, especially with others running that are not particularly used to dogs on leads , creates an additional hazard. So unfortunately you will not able to run if you turn up tied to a dog.

Please note that all helpers, marshals, time keepers, planners  and route markers are volunteers. Without whom the Dash in the Dark series simply would not happen. A massive THANK YOU goes out to them. Thanks for giving up your time to contribute to a fantastic series of night time trail races. The original and STILL the best.
