6-7 year olds 0.6km 30metres

8-9 year olds 1.2km 50metres

10-11 year olds 1.5km  80 metres

12-13 year olds 2km  120metres 

There were excellent conditions for the Gweryd Gallops, the first of this year's Clwydian Junior Series.  Despite a steep ascent, the 12-13 years and 10-11 years all ran brilliant fast times.  It was Grant Leach's first race but that didn't stop him winning the 12-13 year olds in 6:15. Madison Davis won the girl’s race in 7:59.  In the 10-11 year olds, Sion Artobus stormed home in 4:44 closely followed by Lilly Davis in 5:08.  One competitor bravely finished having suffered injury after a bad tumble.  There was a very close finish in the 8-9 year olds race.  Tom Holmes just managed to beat Martha Owen but with only 3 seconds to spare.  Justin Edwards finished the 6-7 years old race in a fantastic 1:32.  Once again Freya Davis followed her big sisters’ example and gave an excellent performance finishing in 1:47.  Sandra Rowlands won best marshal.  Many thanks to all those who helped out - it would be impossible without you.  Next in the series on 31^st May.
