A field of 140 runners took part on what was a mostly sunny and breezy day, although some rain arrived later.<\/p>\n<p>Seven <strong>Clwydian Range runners<\/strong> took on the 15km route with <strong>Dan Hurst<\/strong> (91.26), <strong>Chris Wilcox<\/strong> (91.51), <strong>Stephen Jones<\/strong> (102.58), <strong>Gareth Jaggard<\/strong> (104.52), <strong>Eifion Matthias<\/strong> (119.33), <strong>James Pugh<\/strong> (119.47) and <strong>Susan Ridings<\/strong> (137.48).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>The event raised a fabulous \u00a3781.93 from entry fees, cake sales and other donations on the day.<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0The whole team is grateful to all the runners who took part.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The 2014 NEWSAR Fell Race took place on Sunday 2nd November.
