Second over the line was\u00a0<strong>Rebecca Robberts, Clwydian<\/strong>\u00a0in 35.13 and in \u00a0third place\u00a0<strong>Kate Murphy, Outward Bound<\/strong>\u00a0in 36.14.<\/p>\n<p>As the field lined up for the start, the men\u2019s race favourite and course record \u00a0holder,\u00a0<strong>Karl Steinegger<\/strong>\u00a0looked set to take his third race and overall title for\u00a0<strong>Ambleside AC<\/strong>. \u00a0Indeed, in true form, \u00a0taking the win was Karl in 25.35, only challenged on the night by\u00a0<strong>Simon Edwards<\/strong>\u00a0from\u00a0<strong>Buckley Runners<\/strong>\u00a0in 27.36. Simon also took the V40 win. Third overall for the men was\u00a0<strong>Joe Dogherty\u00a0<\/strong>from<strong>\u00a0Outward Bound<\/strong>\u00a0in 28.54.<\/p>\n<p>The rest of the prizes on the night went to ladies\u00a0<strong>Jan Rodgers\u00a0<\/strong>(V50)<strong>, Chester Tri<\/strong>\u00a036.18 and\u00a0<strong>Ellie Robinson<\/strong>\u00a0(V40)<strong>, West Cheshire AC<\/strong>\u00a037.04.
